Life Is Good
so let's enjoy a popsicle treat in the air-conditioned grocery store today...
and stay up a little later sewing projects for my Etsy shop.
I know some of these skirts look familiar to you. These are mostly duplicates of skirts I already made but these are just in different sizes.

A Friday Night Under The Stars
in which I skipped and slept snugly in my bed...
until the power went off at around 6:30 am Saturday morning
~sigh~
I can not sleep without my fans...my six fans...the house gets noisy.
but because I was up I thought I would snap a few pictures of our star sleepers from my bedroom window.

You might be noticing the big dirt patches in our yard.
Ha ha.
Our yard could be ground zero for Waseca's first dust storm someday.
The dirt patches really do not bother me at all.
But the patches do bother Jeff.
He hopes by Elena's graduation party (June 24th. Mark your calenders!!) the dirt patches will miraculously grow grass.
I think that can happen.
I really do.

A Day Early!
Ok, it does not SEEM like a day early because it is May 1st BUT I made the mistake of thinking yesterday was May 1st!!
By the time I figured out it was only April 30th we were well into our May Day activities so I decided to just moved along as if it was May 1st!!!
But to all my blog friends I can wish you a true and on time
Happy May Day!!

The kids made great May Day cards!

and baked wonderful May Day sugar cookies!

We the walked around our sweet town of Waseca delivering our May Day gifts to some special friends.
Beautiful!!

I could not convince Lily to be in the group picture but she was there!

As you see, we did not do the traditional May Day basket of flowers and ringing door bells then running away. We worked with what we had at home and I was a little too tired to run. We did it our way and had a blast!!

What is Under the Cups?
Can you see what is under the two cups?
Look as long as you need to.
No peeking!

Now let's grab your paper and crayons and draw a picture of what you think you see under the cups.

Great job kids!
Let's move the cups so we can see more clearly.

How did you do?

Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we shall see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me know.
1 Corinthians 13:12

Note: Look real close at the pictures the kids are drawing... I forgot to take a picture while they were actually coloring what they thought was under the cups. This picture was about 15 minutes later.
I am on top of things, you know.
Quick as a whip.
Sharp as a tack some say.
