Mishloach Manot

Our church's AWANA program dropped of a very fun 'sending of portions' Purim basket to us a few weeks ago!

What a sweet treat!!

The basket is from Ghana. Thanks Rhonda. It is beautiful!!!!!

We were give some warm, straight from the oven bread. The bread did not even make it to the bread board cause when out teens came home from youth group they just ate it in chunks! It was SO good!!! So whoever made it (I was thinking it was Stacey from Savvy Gals) we give you an A++++

Ok, Maybe A Triple Post Day!

Three posts!!!

My pre-scheduled post will post later this evening.

But the warm weather is such a great motivator to get outside which makes a lot of blog post ideas!

The block was SO quiet all day but it must have looked like a party was going on at our house with all of us outside all day.

Warm weather party at the Frye's all week!!

Josh and Odell playing catch.

Ekie paying Pollys in the nice fresh dirt.

Naomi and Grace playing Barbies in the dirt as well.

Josh and Ekie created this beautiful garden bed.

Even the guinea pigs got into the warm weather fun.

Another Double Day!

Today was another nice morning to make a fun breakfast.

I am not sure why I feel the need to put my breakfasts on my blog.

It is kind of odd isn't it?

I suppose since I have not had time to sew much and share my latest sew project posting about my creative food adventures is the next best thing.

This morning cinnamon rolls were on the menu.

A cinnamon roll perfectionist is not something I can boast about.

Add hard boiled eggs and we had ourselves a good breakfast. Haha, as you can tell we are huge egg eaters around here.

And just for fun I made an orange glaze for the cinnamon rolls.

And we all ate outside!

I was too tired to take pictures.

I wish I did,though.

What A Nice Day!!!

Are you enjoying it as much as I am?

I will just have to double post today!!!

I have my other post geared up to be posted this evening but the day has been SO nice I thought I would take some fun pictures!

Of our breakfast, of course!!

Today was a nice waffle kind of day.

It just took a little more than a half hour to make waffles for the kids and myself.

Too bad dad was at work.

Pretty with the fruit on top aren't they?

The kids slept in a while so I added scrambled eggs to my waffles and had a quiet breakfast out on the front porch. Kind of like an outdoor cafe.

These are the pretty flowers Jeff brought my last night. The perfect touch to my time.

I found this cute little cup at a second hand store. Doesn't it have a Beatrix Potter kind of look? It is one of my very favorite things.

Enjoy the weather!!

Snow?

Just in time for our nice warm week I thought I would include a little February winter fun.

Remember that cold substance that usually shows up here in Minnesota say around winter time?

Here are pictures of one of the few opportunities the kids had to build snowmen this winter.
