I was so tired of being hot and sweaty I opted out on the fireworks this year. 

Jeff took the younger kids and the bigger kids went on their own.

I stayed home.

I was a fussy wimp.

Maybe in ten years I will look back and think "I should have gone..." but so far no regrets.

Summer is my least favorite season, you know.
