A Quite Friday Evening
Jeff and I were sitting on the front porch relaxing after he came home from work as some of the kids were playing in the yard. It was the perfect time to get a few pictures in before it was too dark outside. Jeff took all the pictures of the girls. Didn't he do a good job?!

Thank You!!!
What is all this you ask?
Well, St John's Lutheran and Grace Lutheran here in town dropped off LOTS of hot dish leftovers from a women's luncheon they hosted this afternoon! This will give us at least six terrific meals. Everything looks very good. We have many hot-dish fans here at our house.
You know you are living in a great town when churches that you do not even attend think of your family quite often. I am continually amazed at the kindness we are shown.The people here in Waseca are great!
Thank you St. John's and Grace Lutheran so much for thinking about us!

And A Few More Things...
For those who are wondering what projects I am working on right now...
Sadly,the only action my sewing machine is getting this week is sewing up the holes in my socks! I think little elves are sneaking into my sock drawer and cutting up my socks.
Sunday two local churches dropped off egg bake dishes leftover from their congregational Easter meals. It has been nice not to cook much yet this week. Thanks Christ Community Church and St. John's Lutheran!

Big Sisters Are Great & Little Pouts Are Cute
Odell is one of the many little mommies I have around here. She is very gentle and nurturing and she loves Lily to pieces.Of course, Lily loves her just as much.
Odell is showing Lily all the exiting things this toy does.
As you can see they are as happy as clams...Oh no...Joel enters the scene with a handful of leaves. This will not end up good.
Now it is off to take a drive in the purple car. Odell is enjoying the fun but Lily is looking a little pouty.

Catay's Curiosities
A few months ago my sweet long time friend Catherine sent me a bunch of jam that she makes to sell on her Etsy shop Catay's Curiosities. Catherine makes so many different flavors of jam and it is all SO good!!!!
I have been saving our last jar of raspberry chocolate for one of those hard days. I would say today was a good day to break out that special jam.
Elena made some biscuits and we enjoyed our tasty treat.
Catherine sent me this picture of her birthday party.I believe it was her 7th birthday. Catherine is in the yellow jumper.I on the left (Cathy's right) with the blue jeans and white with red checker blouse.
For those of you who remember Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour over at Har Mar Mall and the great birthday parties they had with the sirens and all,Cathy was lucky to have her 7th birthday there!
We've known each other for a very long time! We even spent our first year of college in the same dorm building at the U of M.
