Scary Weather

This evening we were driving from Owatonna to Waseca ( a fourteen minute drive) and here is the weather that we were trying to get away from very fast!

I have never seen clouds like this before.

This was the view out my front seat passenger window.





We saw funnel clouds forming right over us. I personally saw one funnel cloud form right ahead of us and then pull back into the clouds. By the time that same set of clouds were to the left of us the kids saw two small funnel clouds combine into one but luckily it did not touch the ground but pulled back into the clouds. It was pretty scary.

We made it home safe and sound!

A side note (ignoring the clouds):Take a look at the pictures again. Don't you just LOVE the scenic view on highway 14 going west between Owatonna and Waseca. I truly think this is just so pretty,all the green farmland.Then we drive into Waseca and there is Clear Lake,so pretty. I never get tired of this drive.
